May 2005 to March 28, 2011. Buzz was one of the first farm animals we bought after we purchased our property. He was just a "kid" when we brought him home, and he is shown above at about 4 months old. When he died of cancer this Monday he was huge furry goat, and had matured out at about 250# pounds. He was as big as a Shetland pony height wise, but even though he was big he was very gentle. Scout and Buzz loved to butt heads. They would do this little stand off in the corral and then they would run towards each other and head butts and spar....just for a few seconds, then frolick off in play, tails wagging, afterwards. We had to put him down due to cancer at the young age of six years old. He was so young. All so sad.
Rest in peace dear Buzz. You were such a good goat. We will miss you deeply.
