~ In Loving Memory Of ~
Crisanda's Zelicaon Toy Story

My darling little " Woody " left me suddenly on March 2, 2003. I was simply devestated. Woody was my darling three pound dynamo, who quickly became quite skilled at the art of stealing hearts. He went to work with me daily, faithfully making his morning rounds as if it were his “job” too. Woody’s “self-designed” job description was to go room to room with me each morning, greeting the elderly residents with happy wags and kisses. The residents simply adored him, and the mere sight of him each morning would make their faces glow with delight. Woody spent many hours on the laps of the elderly, doing what he did best, giving them the gift of his time. Looking back, it’s any wonder I was ever able to get him back each afternoon to take him home, or that he had any ear fringing or coat at all, as he was constantly being fussed over, tugged on, and combed. Although fragile himself, he never complained, and without hesitation would gently kiss their delicate, aging hands. Woody never seemed to mind all the fuss as I know he thought he was entitled to it! He certainly convinced all of us that he was! Woody’s time on earth was so short, and in spite of being so little, he managed to make such big impressions while he was here. He used his 15 months well, living each day to the fullest. We all wished he had been given the gift of “time”, but it was not to be. He is greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved him. Woody was a wonderful companion, my “little big man”, and an inspiration. He gives new meaning to the phrases, “all creatures great and small”, and “big things come in small packages”. ~ Rest in peace my little man.
I miss you deeply. ~ xooxox, Vickie

Fly
Celine Dion

Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again

Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forever more
But hold this memory bittersweet
Until we meet

Fly, fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I won't forget

Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light
