And who said black isn't beautiful.....judges who knew the standard thought so!!!....Our gorgeous solid headed boy does it again....!!!....July 14th 2007 under Mr. Kent H. Delaney Devon finishes his American Championship making him his dam's 7th champion offspring!....July 7th, 2007 Devon wins WD, BOW for 2pts in IL with Chris Jones leaving him needing 1 pt to finish!.....June 24th, 2007 Devon wins WD, BOW for a 4pt major in Missoula Montana under judge Forrest McCoy!....June 21st....Devon wins BOW, WD for a 5 pt major under judge Dr. Lee Anthony Reasin!!!! June 19th....Devon wins BOW, WD for a 5 pt major under judge Carolyn Herble!!!! As you can see by his slide show presentation above Devon, affentionately known as Skunk Boy, has beautiful parents.....and less his head markings, he is a lovely, typey, sound dog, who grew into a pretty, handsome adult with glorious, correct coat....This handsome Feather son, like his brothers and sisters before him, is ready to contribute his championship towards his mother's Dam of Distinction award...and he will do just that! He is animated, sweet, and thinks dog shows are put on JUST for him!!!.....He will become Feather's 7th AKC champion! ...   Devon's markings are unique to say the very least and less than desirable for me on a good day, however he was a singleton puppy so my selection in the litter was limited, and his pedigree far to valuable to let him go because of less than perfect head markings. As always he is beautifully bred from top producing lines. Devon is already showing great promise of being as structurally sound as his mother's other champion offspring. This minimal tri boy is usually to busy for formalities so he is tough to photograph, but to date, less head markings, Devon is a very pretty, very happy dog. He has glorious correct coat and lots of it. Time and a championship will certainly tell. He is ready to win....AND THAT HE DID! Update: **On July 14th,2007 in less than a month of showing Devon became his dam's 7th champion!
